Now serving from SQL Server 2005
Botanicus.org is now being fed bibliographic & page-level metadata from SQL Server 2005 & a 64-bit AMD Opteron. Page generation & loading are considerably faster.

Dear Chris.
In the past weeks I regularly stumble upon the notification "503 Service unavailable", e.g. when I try to open "Flora Homoeopathica" by Edward Hamilton. In many more cases I became disappointed in the same way. PLease, let me know what's the matter ....
